Monster stone problems, darn things.

First off it seems its lvl depended what monster drops them. why?
I'm mostly a mage. my fav mob to kill is uruk blades. i kill about 1500 of them per hour.
But with my 82 mage i get 0 monster stones from them (done more then 25 hours since chaos).
I have a 61 mage in which i did 1 hour aoeing them and got 3.
ftw.

Seond it seems the mobs inside have very low def and high hp. mages are left out again . my int priest with smite hammer without master skils is able to kill them faster then my mage can. kinda unfair.
